Upcoming Sesions

Beyond the Award Offer: Making Sense of Financial Aid Packages and Affordability

Date: April 16, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Zoom

This meeting is focused on helping practitioners guide students and families through understanding financial aid award offers and true college affordability. While FAFSA completion is a critical milestone, award letters determine whether enrollment is financially realistic.

Participants will examine how to interpret the true cost of attendance, distinguish between grants and loans, identify funding gaps, and support informed decision-making. The session reinforces that college access doesn’t end with admission: it requires ensuring students can enroll with clarity, confidence, and a sustainable financial plan.
