It Starts at Home: How Families Help Students Finish What They Start

This session will show how intentional family engagement, communication and support can strengthen motivation and persistence for students on their path to graduation.

Virtual Senior Admitted Day

DCAN is partnering with two institutions to bring you a virtual admitted day experience. The purpose of the event is to support students in completing the critical next steps to enrollment, connecting with key departments on campus, and answering any questions students have about their transition.

Let's Talk About College Burnout and Mental Health

This session will help students recognize the signs of burnout and mental health challenges.

Circle Up: Using Restorative Practices to Navigate Mental Health, Current Events, and Life as a High Schooler

This interactive workshop provides strategies for students to process emotions safely, develop coping skills, and engage in problem-solving while connecting with peers and trusted adults. 

Detroit Decision Day 2026

Detroit Decision Day 2026 is set for Thursday, April 30th, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at The ICON in Detroit. This year’s theme, “Next Chapter, No Limits,” celebrates Detroit seniors as they step boldly into their futures across college, career, and service.
